Electrical Network Design Consultants

Ampflo provides skilled design services for upgrading and expansion of the electrical infrastructure network, residential and commercial subdivisions, and public lighting installations.

We are an Energex A-rated consultant and provide our clients with a quality service at competitive rates. The company was formed in 2004 and is based in South East Queensland.

Our design team has solid experience dating back to 1982 with collectively over 50 years experience in the electricity supply industry. At Ampflo we take pride in producing a quality product.

Distribution and Sub-Transmission Design

We design distribution overhead and underground networks in compliance with electricity authority regulations and safety guidelines and with consideration for customer expectations and the environment.

Residential and commercial subdivisions

We provide a comprehensive service to obtain an Energex Certificate for Electricity Supply and Telecommunications Pre-provisioning Confirmation to enable sealing of plans in accordance with your Council DA.

Our services include:
  • Advice on power supply solutions
  • Coordination with the civil engineer
  • Preparation of the design for electricity infrastructure and street lighting
  • Arrange council approval or operational works
  • Liaise with Telstra to enable a telecommunication design where necessary
  • Submit to Energex for a Supply Agreement
  • Arrange construction quotes from accredited electrical contractors.

Small lot subdivisions (2-4 lots)

Where electricity is available to small lot subdivisions from the existing electricity network, we provide a fast turnaround service to get the Energex certificate of supply. If required, we arrange for the Telecommunications Pre-provisioning Confirmation at no additional cost.

Public Lighting

Our lighting design service provides for Rate 2 Public Lighting Installations associated with development application conditions for commercial developments, and lighting schemes for Public Body initiated works.
